Grace is an account manager with expertise in events management.
She joined the team in June 2021 after returning to her hometown of Felixstowe after six years working for the hospitality industry in London and a year at the New Anglia Growth Hub in peer-networking.
With a BA hons degree in drama and theatre studies from Goldsmiths University, London, Grace exudes confidence and creativity and applies this to accounts along with a knack for delivering attention-grabbing campaigns.
In addition, her experience developing B2B relationships has become instrumental to meeting the objectives of many of our clients.
Her career began at Cubitt House London where she was responsible for the sales, planning and delivery of events for all five of their gastro pubs in Marylebone and Chelsea.
These events ranged from intimate dinners for a dozen guests to weddings and company parties for 200 plus. It was in this role that she grew her sales and networking skills which have been crucial to her professional development.
She later moved to become a sales and events manager for The Pearson Room, a restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Canary Wharf where she hosted networking showcases for local businesses.
A key aspect of her management style in this role was to promote strong communication lines through face-to-face contact with clients, building lasting relationships which resulted in regular and repeated high-profile events.
During this time, her clients included Barclays, EY, JP Morgan, and HSBC and she managed delivery of some very big events including a networking brunch with HSBC and Wimbledon with a panel discussion featuring celebrity guest Judy Murray.
In her role at New Anglia LEP, Grace moved her skills online, coordinating a virtual business support programme for businesses across the region.
This has helped her develop strong connections with a range of companies in different industries and given her insight into how to maximise opportunities for collaboration and partnership in PR.
Outside of work, Grace loves to travel and has spent a year in Australia and, more recently, travelled around New Zealand. She is also partial to a bungee jump from time to time!
