Prominent have had the joy of working with internationally-renowned engineering firm, CMG Technologies, since 2019.

Rachel Garrett, the company’s managing director, sought our assistance to provide a full press office service. Our objective was to promote their fascinating work with metal injection moulding (MIM), while also raising their profile to attract prospective clients.

Since beginning our partnership with CMG Technologies, we have taken great pleasure in being part of the company’s growth. They are an internationally-renowned specialist in MIM, a metalworking process used to create intricate parts, whose expertise benefits numerous industries. And it’s our expertise which has helped to give them the recognition in the press they deserve.

Our press releases have received coverage in local print and broadcast media, as well as national trade magazines. Stories have ranged from commentary on their four-day working week to investments in machinery and encouraging more women to enter the engineering industry, to name just a few. In addition to press releases, we have organised numerous print and broadcast interviews, and provided commentary on various topics.

In order to highlight the truly fascinating work they complete, we have also drafted numerous case studies for their website. Additionally, we drafted the content for their brand-new website which launched in 2021, populating pages from start to finish.

While they are specialists in MIM, the company has since taken the world of 3D metal printing by storm. Prominent have assisted in publicising their more recent offering by creating a dedicated webpage, as well as securing media coverage.

Not only have we helped gain media coverage, but we have also written and submitted numerous successful award entries. In 2020, CMG Technologies won the Innovation Award at the Suffolk Business Awards for their work which included making intricate parts of ventilators used to treat Covid-19 patients. During the same year, the company received the regional Wellbeing Award at the Federation of Small Businesses Awards. In 2021, MD Rachel Garrett was named a Timewise Power Part-Timer, a list of successful people working part-time hours. Each accolade is incredibly deserved, and the Prominent team are very happy to have played our part in gaining CMG Technologies its rightful recognition.
