The Prominent team are delighted to join forces with multi-award-winning social enterprise Combat2Coffee as our newest client.

Set up by Royal Anglian Regiment veteran Nigel Seaman in 2018, the not-for-profit does incredible work in supporting former armed forces personnel and prisoners reintegrate into civilian life through the medium of coffee.

Inspired by Nigel’s own experience with post-traumatic stress disorder, Combat2Coffee trains people to become baristas, with profits made through sales donated to charity Combat Stress.

Nigel and his team have since gone on to receive national recognition on the One Show, as well as invites to Downing Street. He was also named the Star of Suffolk in 2019 by the East Anglian Daily Times.

As our chosen charity partner, we will be providing media relations, social media and copywriting services to Combat2Coffee as their dedicated PR agency.

Helen Rudd, our Managing Director, said: “From the moment we met Nigel, we were left in awe by both his story and his passion for helping others.

“He has been quick off the mark in giving us lots of great stories to share – from the support for the heroes who served alongside him to his work with Ipswich Town Football Club.

“Nigel has incredible plans for the future of Combat2Coffee and all of us are excited to see what the future holds.”

Combat2Coffee were first introduced to Prominent through a former client, while our Senior Copywriter Oliver was the first journalist Nigel ever spoke to when launching the organisation (and successfully predicted he would feature on the One Show within a year!).

Nigel added: “It is great to have Prominent on board supporting us.

“The team are fully behind what we do as an organisation and have already come up with new ways to share our news to a wider audience.

“I’m really looking forward to working with them.”
