Jade joined Prominent in June 2018 to complete a level three business administration apprenticeship and is now our youngest PR Executive.
She is incredibly switched on and has brought fresh, forward-thinking ideas to the team.
She is an instrumental part of the team which delivers a full press office service for East Cambridgeshire District Council (ECDC) and her work includes running all their social media accounts, writing press releases, coming up with new and innovative campaigns and managing calls from the media.
As part of this she ran the communications logistics operation for the most recent general election, assigning roles to other members of the team and managing the PR delivery on the ground, liaising with local and national press including Sky News and the BBC, political candidates and ECDC officers.
She created an extensive media information pack which contained everything the press needed to know from the location and timings of the voting process right down to where they could park their cars and plug their laptops in.
On top of this, she delivered a comprehensive social media schedule urging residents to vote, pointing them to their nearest polling station and advising them to take care in the winter conditions. This contributed to a turnout figure of 74.5%.
Jade boasts an excellent grasp of social media platforms and manages planned and reactive posts for a number of our clients. She has also been heavily involved in exploring potential for clients on platforms such as Snapchat and TikTok.
The latter allows users to make short, looping videos with special effects and musical overlays and has 500 million monthly active users – mainly young adults – making it an increasingly useful marketing tool for Gen Z.
As far as technology is concerned, Jade is also demonstrating exceptional skills in videography which has allowed the team to offer clients affordable, experimental video content.
With approximately 85% of all videos on Facebook viewed without the sound on, Jade can also caption content for maximum reach.
This allows brands to tell a story in a creative way that fits the platform with the audience.
